Lorraine (Rosenthal) Seiffert, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
As the newest addition to West County Plastic Surgeons, Lorraine practices medicine under the supervision of a physician, performing noninvasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic injections, fillers, laser skin resurfacing, laser hair removal, spider vein treatments, CoolSculpting®, Ultherapy®, micropen, Kybella®, Cellfina®, and vaginal rejuvenation.
Lorraine was born and raised in Pennsylvania, just south of Pittsburgh. She is a devoted Steelers fan and attended Penn State University for her associate degree in nursing. She completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Pittsburgh, then worked in critical care as a nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
In 2002, Lorraine moved to St. Louis, where she continued her career as a nurse and Barnes Jewish Hospital in the cardiothoracic ICU. She then attended St. Louis University and graduated with her acute care nurse practitioner degree. Lorraine has worked in critical care and trauma at Barnes Jewish Hospital and has saved lives, but has also seen the scares and body deformities trauma causes. "I saw people at their worst moments of life," she said. "They were thankful to be alive, but as time passed, it became obvious how emotionally upsetting having residual body deformities could be. I have been blessed to join West County Plastic Surgeons to help restore not only the effects of aging, but also give people back self confidence."
Emily Weinhaus, Physician Assistant
Emily is West County Plastic Surgeons of Washington University's physician assistant, which is a licensed health professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician. She has been with the practice for 10 years and continues to grow with the procedures she performs on patients.
Emily was born and raised in St. Louis. She graduated with a biology degree from the University of Missouri and attended St. Louis University's Physician Assistant Program. She has been a certified practicing physician assistant since 2004. She loves being able to meet, develop a relationship, and tailor each treatment for the patient. Now with new technology, we are able to treat patients head to toe with facial rejuvenation, skin tightening, body contouring, and now vaginal rejuvenation. These treatments impact patients' everyday lives by improving things we are self-conscience about, taking care of ourselves to keep up with the aging process, and improving intimate relationships with our partner. She feels what is most gratifying is developing a rapport with patients and seeing their lives improve from the treatments they receive.
